Sales Operation Sr Manager

Job description

  • Work with support functions essential to sales force productivity. These include planning reporting,

    quota setting and management, sales process optimization, sales job design, sales training, sales

    program implementation.

  • Responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the channel sales organization.

  • Work with and support the VP of Global Distribution Sales to drive channel sales strategy and

    ensure all channel sales organization objectives are met.

  • Support the equitable assignment of sales force quotas and ensure quotas are optimally allocated

    to the channel sales team.

  • Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement. Works closely with sales

    management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement. Assists

    sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies. Facilitates an

    organization of continuous process improvement.

  • Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to

    the sales organization. Recommends revisions to existing reports, or assists in the development of

    new reporting tools as needed.

  • Possessing Ship & Debit working process knowledge and experience, you will study current

    processes in ams, design and implement additional processes and/or procedures to enable ams to

    implement Ship and Debit model in the company with our distributors.

  • Be the gatekeeper of distribution contracts as you work with account managers to ensure

    customers agree to ams terms and conditions and close loop with legal.

  • Oversight on channel sales forecasting and drive funnel management integrity.

  • Remain knowledgeable of key processes, business initiatives and internal resources in order to

    assist the sales team and recruitment in accomplishing company goals.

  • Work closely with Sales Managers and the Regional Sales Controllers to address contract issues

    or concerns and to ensure the timeliness of contract review.

  • Identify opportunities and weaknesses within Regions and make proposals to create value and

    increase operational efficiency.

  • Continuously research and remain knowledgeable of industry trends and competition.

  • Lead and champion system setup and implementation to support Global sales team and external


  • Establish systems, processes and structure to support distributor management and facilitate day

    to day to day operations including design registration, contract renewals, ship and debit etc.

  • Work with FP&A to design and develop dashboards to monitor key KPIs.

  • Future resource planning to support global sales operations.


  • B.A., Business, Finance or other related field or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum of 8 years Hi-tech industrial experience.

  • Experience with ship and debit process.

  • Lead process design and implementation.

  • Experience working key stakeholders across multiple departments, with demonstrated ability to

    influence and get buy-in.

  • Demonstrated leadership, communication and problem solving skills.

  • Understanding sales system and processes.

  • Ability to effectively utilize CRM tools to monitor performance and effectiveness of lead generation.
