Job description

Our client is seeking a Sales Operations Specialist to strengthen forecasting accuracy, streamline sales processes, and provide data-driven insights that enable the global sales team to perform at its best. Based in Penang, Malaysia, this role is central to driving sales efficiency, operational alignment, and accurate demand planning across regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sales forecasting and demand planning, ensuring accurate projections across global markets.

  • Manage and optimize sales operations processes, including pipeline tracking and performance analytics.

  • Develop dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs such as pipeline health, revenue attainment, and regional sales performance.

  • Partner with finance, supply chain, and product teams to align forecasts with business goals and customer needs.

  • Maintain and enhance CRM systems to ensure data integrity and enable informed decision-making.

  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in sales processes while recommending efficiency improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.

  • 5+ years’ experience in sales operations, forecasting, or business operations.

  • Hands-on expertise in pipeline management, data analysis, and reporting.

  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across time zones in a global environment.

  • Preferred: Experience in B2B technology/manufacturing sales operations and familiarity with supply chain or demand planning processes.
