Our client is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Senior Director to drive Industry 4.0 and automation initiatives within their manufacturing operations. This leadership role will focus on implementing cutting-edge automation solutions, streamlining processes, and enhancing efficiency through digital transformation. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise, strategic vision, and strong leadership skills to accelerate innovation and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a strategy for Industry 4.0 and automation aligned with business goals.
Lead teams in designing and deploying smart manufacturing solutions.
Work with different departments to identify and implement automation improvements.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency.
Manage budgets, resources, and project timelines effectively.
Promote innovation and continuous improvement.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and technology providers.
Track key performance metrics to assess automation impact.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or related field.
10+ years of experience in manufacturing automation and digital transformation.
Proven leadership in managing large-scale automation projects.
Expertise in Industry 4.0 technologies (AI, ML, IoT, robotics).
Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
Experience with cloud-based platforms and smart factory systems.
Knowledge of industry regulations and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
