Lead an organization of technical managers, experts and technicians in product engineering, yield management, data management, new product introduction & test engineering.
Set vision and goals, and guide, direct, motivate, hire, train, enable, develop competencies, plan succession & organization structure to drive high performance & improvements.
Product and test package ownership in the site from engineering samples release onwards, ramp up till end of life.
Responsible for all new product transfers & ramp up success working globally with divisions, clusters, frontend, assembly, OSAT, and other backend sites.
Debug, evaluate, decide & approve release of test packages.
Make proposals, drive alignment & lead changes to enable product ramp up and sustainable performance in quality, yield and productivity for business division bottom and top line.
Master diverse product portfolio and final test processes competency and knowledge needed to stabilize, optimize, automate & innovate new solutions with Singapore site being lead test location for breakthrough & latest final test technologies co-developed with equipment suppliers and divisions.
Take decisions on product & process conformance, including quality firewall governance towards our customers.
Drive automation in product and test including design and incorporation of automation into product engineering work reducing manual and repeated tasks.
Lead and build data analytics into standards for artificial intelligent applications that could be rolled out to other backend sites.
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical areas.
10+ years of experience in Semiconductor industry.
Experience in leading big teams and collaboration with broad range of stakeholders.
Strong logical and critical thinking (6 Sigma green belt will be an added advantage).
Good foundation in product engineering with wide portfolio and solid understanding of products, electrical structures and backend processes.
Good knowledge of competitors, industry and sectoral trends.
Strong leadership demonstrated in work experience with multi-cultural team.
Ability to apply a variety of interpersonal skills also at higher management levels to effectively direct / persuade / influence others, manage and co-ordinate multiple interfaces.
