Job description

As the Senior Program Manager of People Development, you will lead the diagnosis and effective roll-out of leadership development solutions to meet the local site’s business priorities, in alignment with the philosophy and operating objectives of our global People Development team. You will be a development consultant for your business stakeholders in Malaysia and will be facilitating leadership programs to meet the needs of leaders in Malaysia and across Asia. You will have the opportunity to join a diverse team of L&D professionals who provide innovative and impactful learning solutions on a global scale. In this role, you will also get to lead the collaborative design, development, contextualization, implementation and evaluation of the companyglobal leadership development offerings.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership consulting and facilitation skills.

  • Outstanding ability to partner with different stakeholders, respond to varying business needs and achieve the required development outcomes.

  • Sound understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies and enabling of experiential learning.

  • Effective project management, problem-solving and solutioning skills.

  • Passionate about delivering best-in-class results, takes the required effort to conduct external research, benchmark industry standards and deftly responds to the dynamic needs of the business.

  • Integrates leading practices in social and collaborative learning methods to enhance learning experience, improve program impact, build and sustain learning communities and ensure high demand for our learning solutions across Micron.

  • Demonstrates ability to collaborate globally, is a distinct team player and builds relationships of trust.

  • Distills complex information into key insights, clear recommendations and actions plans.

  • Adopts an integrated perspective, a continuous improvement and growth mindset.

  • Exhibits a bias for action, is customer focused, zealous in establishing processes, tracking metrics, ensuring level 1, 2, 3 learning evaluation and applying these measures to drive progress in talent management and retention.


  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in a related field.

  • 7+ years’ experience in designing and facilitating workshops for senior leaders.  Experience in coaching and driving innovative leadership development initiates with minimum supervision for a ramp-up site will be a plus.

  • Expertise in leading initiatives such as Performance and Talent Management, Leadership Development, Career Development, Onboarding, Change Management, Wellness and Engagement.  Experience in Organization Development consulting will be a plus.

  • Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering learning programs to reflect sound knowledge of adult learning principles, both inside and outside of traditional classroom environments, with a focus on making learning stick and transforming leadership behaviour and organizational culture.

  • Demonstrated experience in communicating complex processes into simple and easy to understand concepts and leading projects with cross-functional teams with a high level of execution.

  • Passion for learning, increasing team member and leader capability and perseveres to deliver enhanced business value.

  • Demonstrable track record in establishing relationships of trust, influencing leaders and being a trusted learning and development consultant and partner.

  • Team oriented, enjoys knowledge sharing and providing timely and effective support.

  • Displays bias for action, is customer focused, adopts a growth mindset and is willing to go the extra mile.

  • Experienced in adapting content and conversations to meet the needs of the target audience, savvy in using data analytics, influencing and reporting skills.

  • Incorporates effective communication and feedback mechanisms to ensure that the site’s business needs are effectively understood and catered to.
