Job description
Our client is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and support software used in complex engineering, measurement, and data-intensive applications. The role combines hands-on development, troubleshooting, system integration, and continuous software improvement.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain software for engineering, measurement, and data-intensive applications.
Translate customer and system requirements into practical software solutions.
Enhance existing software to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Investigate and resolve issues reported by internal teams and customers.
Support software integration, testing, and continuous improvement activities.
Contribute to software design, code reviews, and development of engineering-related algorithms or features.
Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams.
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
2+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong programming fundamentals and understanding of algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving.
Experience developing software for technical, scientific, engineering, or data-intensive applications.
Exposure to C++, AI/ML, local LLMs, on-premises AI, numerical computing, or scientific computing is advantageous.
Good analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
