Job description
The Site Director is responsible for defining the overall site strategies and establishing business plans to drive benchmark performance. You will direct all resources and aspects of the backend process within the site.
Responsibilities:
Drive benchmark culture within the organization in Quality, Cost, Yield, Cycle Time and Safety.
Define business initiatives and set direction for site team to meet strategic business objectives including capacity optimization and/or expansion.
Lead the site team to deliver on product qualification, output and cost commitments.
Ensure excellence in Safety, Environmental & Quality standards.
Drive site performance, continuous improvements, and ensure resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.
Collaborate with Central Teams, Business Units, other sites and external groups in network to support company’s overall needs and objectives.
Mentor site leadership team and develop talent pipeline.
Provide guidance on people strategies to attract, retain and reward talent and effectively deploy them to maximize every individual’s potential.
Requirements
Masters or Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Science discipline.
At least 7 years of related experience in senior management and/or executive level positions with excellent knowledge in assembly and test manufacturing processes and systems.
Senior management experience in large scale manufacturing facilities in Malaysia will be preferred.
Demonstrated ability as an excellent mentor, team builder and motivator.
Demonstrated leadership ability to empower each team member to drive decisions to the appropriate level within the organization.
