Job description
Develop and manage long-term relationship with suppliers, focusing on Quality, Supply, Technology and (total) Costs.
Contribute to sourcing strategy and define supplier policies for Product Related materials and services.
Negotiate global contracts and commercial agreements, prepare and execute annual negotiations on commercial conditions.
Participate in development project teams in early stage to facilitate early supplier involvement, ensure that supply chain decisions are in line with the sourcing strategy; ensure with supply chain management department that all materials will be ordered in line with project timeline.
Drive supplier selection process, continuous improvement programs, and cost reduction activities.
Initiate ramp-up planning with suppliers.
Requirements
Degree / Masters in relevant disciple.
8 years of procurement experience in semiconductor industry
Experience with semiconductor backend equipment (wire-bonders, die-bonders, die-sorters) is advantageous.
Good project management skill.
