
Job description
Our client is seeking an experienced Staff Process Engineer to lead the development, industrialisation and scale-up of critical manufacturing processes. The role will support global production teams across Malaysia, Korea and the USA, ensuring processes and equipment are robust, scalable and cost-effective.
Key Responsibilities
Lead process development, qualification, transfer and high-volume production ramp-up.
Define process capability targets, readiness criteria and manufacturing standards.
Manage equipment reviews, FAT/SAT, installation, commissioning and production release.
Drive yield improvement, scrap reduction, cycle-time optimisation and cost-saving projects.
Lead root-cause investigations and risk-mitigation activities.
Align cross-functional teams, suppliers and global manufacturing sites.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to process engineers.
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
At least 10 years of advanced or high-volume manufacturing experience.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, SPC, process qualification and manufacturing risk management.
Proven experience leading equipment scale-up, production ramps and cross-site technical programmes.
Strong leadership, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
