Job description

  • Lead the global supplier quality function ensuring compliance, reduction of cost of poor quality, identifying and

    driving cost reductions at supplier manufacturing site, focusing on supplier improvements.


  • Develop and update the Supplier Quality Procedures & processes in compliance with company standards requirements.


  • Manage Supplier Quality objectives, audit requirements and tiering of suppliers.


  • Lead supplier performance evaluations or audit to applicable standard or requirements


  • Ensure compliance to supplier selection/release/approval process and sustainability guidelines


  • Actively participate in strategic supplier development. Manage the deliverables of the supplier development


    process for selected key suppliers with a performance gap.


  • Be a champion of problem solving and root cause analysis activities with suppliers and customers to eliminate

    recurrence of non-conformance.


  • Work closely with cross functional team to quickly mitigate and deploy decisive actions for supplier related


    quality issues.


  • Liaise with all departments on matters relating to supplier issues which involves working with people of all levels

    within organization as well as external customers and regulatory bodies.


  • Monitor and report on supplier quality performance metrics of suppliers.


  • Travel to supplier site for audit, quality improvements activities or supplier management activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Engineering/Manufacturing or relevant study

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (Supplier Quality Management / Supplier Quality Audit / Process orEquipment Engineering) in Semiconductor/ Electronic industry

  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking with high level of enthusiasm.

  • Strong analytical problem solver with demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment while workingindependently to resolve critical issues.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to interface effectively and professionally at all levels

  • Detail oriented and able to multi-task/work under pressure in a high energy and fast paced-environment withcritical and tight schedules.

  • Solid audit experiences –eg : ISO 9001, IATF 16949 preferred

  • Strong knowledge of 6 sigma tools such as 8D, FMEA, DMAIC, Value Stream Map, Root Cause Analysis

  • Knowledge of statistical tools such as SPC, Statistical sampling DOE preferred.
