
Job description
Our client is looking for a Technical Project Manager to support the execution of engineering and manufacturing programs. This role focuses on coordinating cross-functional efforts, maintaining project momentum, and ensuring alignment across teams to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Drive end-to-end execution of equipment build programs, from initial design release through installation and production readiness
Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, capturing key milestones, dependencies, and critical paths
Partner with R&D, process engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to define scope, secure resources, and manage competing priorities
Monitor program progress, identify schedule or technical risks early, and lead mitigation planning with relevant stakeholders
Coordinate tooling fabrication, vendor activities, and on-site deployment to ensure timelines are met
Support equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) and manage transition into volume production
Facilitate regular cross-functional reviews, ensuring issues are tracked, owners are assigned, and actions are closed
Provide structured status updates, highlighting risks, delays, and recovery plans to leadership
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field with 7+ years of experience in equipment or process engineering, within high-tech manufacturing environments.
At least 5+ years of experience managing technical programs involving hardware development and manufacturing scale-up
Strong understanding of equipment lifecycle: design, build, validation, and ramp to high-volume manufacturing
Experience working with automation systems, tooling vendors, and contract manufacturers
Clear and effective communication skills, with experience engaging both technical teams and senior leadership
