
Job description
A semiconductor manufacturing organization is seeking a motivated and technically capable Engineer to support equipment operations within the Diffusion (Wet) process area. This role focuses on maintaining high equipment performance, supporting production needs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Sustain and improve equipment performance to meet operational and production targets
Perform rotational shift duties to support manufacturing operations
Optimize equipment uptime and reliability through preventive and corrective maintenance
Monitor and control key equipment performance indicators aligned with operational goals
Ensure compliance with quality systems, safety standards, and ISO requirements
Manage spare parts and consumables inventory within budget to support production capacity
Develop and maintain preventive maintenance procedures to standardize equipment practices
Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers/technicians to enhance technical capabilities
Identify and implement improvements to enhance equipment capability, reliability, and cost efficiency
Participate in cross-functional teams and task forces to improve equipment performance and cost of ownership
Support installation and commissioning of new equipment, including facility setup, vendor coordination, and acceptance
Document corrective actions and best-known methods to improve troubleshooting efficiency
Maintain a safe and organized working environment
Requirements
Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering;Â
Experience maintaining high vacuum systems is an advantage
Basic knowledge of semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment and processes
Ability to interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics
Strong teamwork, responsibility, and an ownership mindset
