The International Workshop on Nitride Semiconductors (IWN2026) will showcase high-impact scientific and technological advances in materials and devices based on group-III nitride semiconductors. Since its inception in Nagoya, Japan in 2000, IWN has been held biennially. Previous workshops have taken place in cities such as Aachen, Pittsburgh, Kyoto, Montreux, Tampa, Sapporo, Wrocław, Orlando, Kanazawa, Berlin, and Hawaii.
IWN2026 will feature a series of focused topical sessions, each dedicated to in-depth discussions on key physical and chemical aspects of nitride semiconductors. These sessions aim to address critical scientific and technological challenges, fostering breakthroughs that will drive the next generation of nitride-based devices. IWN2026 will serve as a vital forum for researchers, engineers, and industry leaders to exchange ideas, build collaborations, and shape the future of the field.
