This dinner is an important networking opportunity for the industry to connect with other leaders and friends from across the ecosystem. Our partners from the government agencies and various institutions will also be invited to join the dinner. This will be our industry's largest physical dinner gathering in Singapore compared to the 50th anniversary celebration we had in 2018.
55 years also signifies the Emerald Anniversary which is often used to attract abundance and good luck in fengshui. The colour green is an amalgamation of blue and yellow. Blue represents agencies, companies, digitalisation. Yellow covers the areas of technology and human capital. Drawing parallel to this concept, SSIA epitomises the colour green since we have been the strong bridge between the these key sectors.
In order to make this anniversary more meaningful, SSIA will also be incorporating an element of CSR into this year's celebration as we would like to make a meaningful impact on society.
