TSMC, Robert Bosch GmbH, Infineon Technologies AG, and NXP Semiconductors N.V. Collaborate on Joint Investment in European Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (ESMC) GmbH in Dresden, Germany, Aiming to Establish a 300mm Fab to Meet the Expanding Demands of the Automotive and Industrial Industries. The project's full investment decision is contingent on the determination of public funding support, and it is being pursued within the scope of the European Chips Act.

China’s chip imports fall 17 per cent by volume in first seven months amid ongoing tech war
China imported a total of 270.2 billion units of integrated circuits (IC) in the first seven months of 2023, down 16.8 per cent from the same period last year and showing a modest improving trend despite tougher trade restrictions imposed by the US and its allies.
